G-PROJECT: Where Racing Pushes GUMANDE Tire Performance Further

G-PROJECT: Where Racing Pushes GUMANDE Tire Performance Further

April 28, 2025 | GUMANDE Performance Tires

At GUMANDE, we believe the best way to develop a high-performance tire is to put it to the test where performance matters most — on the track.

That philosophy is at the heart of G-PROJECT, GUMANDE’s motorsport program built around competition, real-world testing, and continuous tire development.

Rather than treating racing as simply a competition, GUMANDE uses the track as a demanding test environment. Every lap creates valuable feedback. Every corner reveals how a tire responds under pressure. And every race provides data that can help us understand where performance can be improved.

From Track Performance to Tire Development

Motorsport pushes tires far beyond everyday driving conditions.

Acceleration, braking, cornering, heat buildup, changing track conditions, and repeated high-load cycles all place extreme demands on a tire. These conditions provide an opportunity to evaluate characteristics such as:

  • Grip and traction
  • Cornering stability
  • Steering response
  • Heat management
  • Wear characteristics
  • Consistency during extended sessions

Through G-PROJECT, GUMANDE collects race and testing data and combines it with feedback from drivers, teams, and technical partners.

The goal is simple: turn track experience into better tire technology.

The knowledge gained through motorsport development can help GUMANDE continuously refine its products for both competition and performance-focused riders and drivers.

G-PROJECT Cup: Competition Built Around Performance

The 2025 GUMANDE G-PROJECT Cup marks the third edition of the G-PROJECT racing series.

With a total prize pool of RMB 1 million, the 2025 championship brings together competitors across motorcycle, electric motorcycle, and karting categories.

The season features multiple classes, including:

  • 12-inch MiniGP150 Open Class
  • 12-inch Electric Motorcycle Open Class
  • X30 Karting Open Class
  • X30 Karting Masters Class
  • 4T Endurance Racing

Designed to accommodate different levels of racing experience, the series gives both emerging racers and experienced competitors an opportunity to compete in a professional motorsport environment.

More importantly for GUMANDE, it creates a demanding platform where tire performance can be challenged repeatedly under real racing conditions.

Three Rounds. One Championship.

The 2025 G-PROJECT Cup is scheduled across three rounds:

R1 — June 20–22
Chitu International Karting Club, Zhangzhou

R2 — August 22–24
Zhuzhou International Karting Circuit

R3 — November 7–9
Wuhan WSK Karting Club

Drivers and teams can accumulate points throughout the season, with the championship ultimately decided by their performance across the three rounds.

Each event combines competition, technical testing, and the racing community — creating an environment where performance can be measured lap after lap.

More Than a Race

G-PROJECT is not only about who crosses the finish line first.

For GUMANDE, every race is an opportunity to learn.

Track conditions change. Racing styles differ. Tires experience different temperatures, loads, surfaces, and driving conditions. These variables create a wealth of real-world information that cannot always be replicated in a laboratory.

By studying how tires perform in these demanding environments, GUMANDE can identify opportunities to improve compounds, construction, tread design, durability, and overall handling characteristics.

The track becomes the laboratory.
The data becomes the feedback.
Performance becomes the goal.

Connecting Motorsport With a New Generation of Racers

The 2025 G-PROJECT Cup also brings together racers, motorsport creators, tuning enthusiasts, and automotive influencers.

Motorsport personality Liu Liu Ge joins the series as a featured commentator and racing content creator, bringing his experience and perspective to the competition.

Additional motorsport influencers, tuning specialists, and sports creators will also participate in the events, helping bring the excitement of racing to a wider audience through on-site experiences, technical discussions, and social media coverage.

For GUMANDE, this connection is important.

Performance culture is not limited to professional racing teams. It lives in karting tracks, motorcycle communities, tuning garages, weekend track days, and among enthusiasts who simply want more from their machines.

G-PROJECT helps bring those communities together around one common idea:

Performance should be tested, measured, and constantly improved.

Born From Racing. Built for Performance.

GUMANDE’s involvement in motorsport reflects a long-term commitment to performance tire development.

Racing creates extreme conditions. Those conditions create challenges. And those challenges push tire technology forward.

Through G-PROJECT, GUMANDE continues to explore what its tires can do — from the first lap to the final lap, from controlled testing to real competition.

Because for GUMANDE, performance isn't just a specification on a product sheet.

It's something that has to be proven on the track.

G-PROJECT by GUMANDE

Race. Test. Learn. Improve.

This is G-PROJECT.

This is how GUMANDE continues to push performance forward.
